As for providing details, he has even shown presentations here about what materials, specifications are required to get the performance desired (mirrors, coatings, immersion, etc). You ask him for details. He provides it and you dismiss it as "bs".
He mostly gets angry with you because you tend to nitpick. I don't even know if you want to hear a plan or want to embarrass him.
BTW, it's not just tidalwave making these observations either. Other people in the Chinese semiconductor industry are echoing some of his criticisms.
You are the one with the over confidence that bothers me the most. I look at China and I see many examples of them NOT being vigilant at all. Yes, the leadership is good in many areas, but they have enormous blind spots in certain areas from what I can tell (unless they're playing 4d chess, which I highly doubt). In fact, their exceptional performance in many areas of governance blinds people like you from recognizing their deficiencies.
Just in the realm of soft power. They are making mistakes that even a low IQ teenager would not make. Yet, according to you, anyone who doesn't have a PhD in sociology or psychology or spent decades running an international advertising agency should go away and stop pestering them with "crappy ideas". Yet, year after year they continue wasting billions on scoring own goals on themselves because they don't understand the most simple BASICS of how to communicate, control a narrative, attack propaganda, rile up emotions, or just not disgust or bore people.
Having seen their epic failures in numerous areas, I am far less hopeful than you about China's future.
