Chechens are deeply religious and very brave. They are on par with rebels in Syria. Very scary to Ukrainians.
Kherson is very close to Crimea. Easy for Russia to defend. Also, Kherson as at the mouth of the Dnipr river and therefore it is a thorn in Kiev's hide.
Germany would rather annex Austria like they did in 1938. One day they may try again.
Incorrect. Germany and Austria were one country for centuries under Holy Roman empire.
Yeah. I think MANPADS won't help Ukrainians in any significant way. Russia recently started using 300 mm GLONASS guided artillery which is too fast to be shot down by MANPADS. As long as Russian recon drones operate with impunity, MANPADS will not help.
