India is now being credited to its contribution in WWI as if India as a sovere8gn country even existed back in 1918 and not under the control as the crown jewel colony of Great Britain.

IIRC, he was pulled into politics only because of his family name. The Liberal party was in disaster and desperately needed a turnaround. Legacy of PET was the only hope. It actually worked out for the party. It shows how much westerners still believe in blood 2000 years after Chinese decried it with 王侯将相宁有种乎.

saw people post this twitter and say "China hates africa and only steals from them" when in reality this is to my knownglege a private company not connected to the state so it has nothing to do with the state but just bad buinness pratices.
