Guys, only maths and hard sciences teach people how to truly think.
The rest of that pish posh only teach you how to talk more convincingly with your inside voice and your ego tainted outside voice. Hence why the talkers know shit all about the world and how it really is and how it really works. Ever notice how incompatible the talkers are with maths, logic, reasoning, anything that is binary when simple and can be eventually summed up as some net if complicated? Yes these people always are the ones who claim they're no good "with the technicalities" or the maths. It's because they don't understand and can't be bothered sorting through the facts with logic. They prefer BSing around. That's what language is often used for - manipulating perceptions whether arguing with your girlfriend about a series of factual events or how to interpret the meaning behind a statement from a mutual friend. Language can be terribly ineffective and it's also why people who specialise in language - lawyers, politicians, historians
, ought to be considered only as bullshit artists.
It's a terrible waste of time "discussing" with people who only aim to discuss a topic with the intention of manipulating your perception of it. They do not approach the conversation with good faith. It usually becomes obvious after a while but consider what happens to communities/societies that engage in this sort of bullshittery. It decays because it inevitably begins fooling itself to no end. No society is immune to this though. Happened to the Soviets, happens in the US and China too. It's just so damned difficult to set up a system that self corrects. China suffers the fools with it's culture of appealing to authority, Soviets with denialism, Americans with exceptionalism.
