Toronto probably has one of the broadest confluences of Chinese cuisines from around the world.
Of course you can find all the classic regional cuisines (Hot pots, Canto, HK food, Taiwan, Shanghai, Lanzhou noodles, even Xinjiang kebab)
But also because of the various non-chinese disaporas that are in Toronto, they've attracted their "native" Chinese cuisines as well, so you have a lot of West Indies-Chinese, Indo-Chinese, South American Chinese etc.
One time I went to a Lanzhou noodle place, and 80% of the customers were non-Chinese muslims (many women wearing hijabs, etc.). It had never occurred to me that the restaurant was halal certified, and there was a significant demand for this cuisine (halal noodles).
