Which part?

The woman says: "The Assembly requests the party to unify thought and action using 'Xi Jinping New-era Socialism with Chinese characteristics'".

Xi says: "Those who agree raise your hands."

<hands are raised>

Then he says:"Those who don't agree raise your hands."

Various people who are probably counting the votes say "mei you", which means "no", or in this context, "no hands are raised".

Xi says "mei you. tong guo!" Which means, "no one disagrees, passed!"

Clapping ensues.
Well, they generally only film the part when the negotiations are done and they can make an unified statement, not whatever struggle happened before.

Or Xi could do much more alone as a person, as things are, he doesn't even have ultimate executive power but has to share with the central committee.

Looks like Thailand is making a political statement by participating in an aerial combat exercise with China.
Didn't know this still on going, last time that happen US seem to be very upset.

Kinda weird too because RTAF just getting an approval to buy F-35 (with only 2 airframe, I don't even know why they approve that, I mean WTF are RTAF going to do with that? flying them on air show? because I'm pretty sure US ain't gonna allow them to participate in exercise with PLAAF or even use to intercept Mig-29 from Myanmar)

Chinese: "1+1=2, those who don't agree raise your hands."
"mei you"
Chinese:"OK then,1+1=2, tong guo!"

Wanwan, indians, americans:"What a shame for China, no critical thinking at all. That is a question at least worth 3 months of arguing for democracies like us."

I hate for this to devolve into a political argument, but the Taiwanese also get a good laugh from videos of how your government operates. Like this one:

I personally find both videos hilarious political theater.
I mean, I get your point, but it's only dark humor if you ignore the fact that all important decision-making and deliberation has already taken place behind the scenes and this 'vote' is merely a formality.

The CPC wants to project an image of unity, strength, confidence and competence to its domestic audience. Part of that means keeping politics out of the public eye.
