I tried my best to transcribe what the people in the video were talking about. Please correct me, and improve it if you can.

Man: I think that person…some difference… …Patrick……this officer…bigger than that

Woman 1: I agree, if (we? he?) go down this road/route together, there better be a motive. Still she could’ve be ……. Let’s get her statement. I am not moving forward officially until Angela (agrees? Voices?) ……

Man: Is it concerns (st.? …)Patrick and discontinuing (new year?)…and full Chinese (fault? Force?) here, sorry……(Blow?) the (action?) … on China

Woman 1: ……Angela would’ve ……

Woman 2 (with south Asian accent): Which one is yelling “fire fire fire”?

It looks like an investigation immediately after the incident. The room looks like on the ship, there is a walkie-talkie with wired mouth-piece in front of the monitor. It is interesting that China and Chinese have already been mentioned at this stage.

By the video the vertical velocity of the plane was several times more than the load bearing capacity of the landing gears.
It simply disintegrated on impact. It would destroy the aircraft regardless of the place of landing. The part that was done badly is the basic to land with any aircraft.

considering that the most important in the landing is the descent speed there could be two possible explanation :
1. The jet pilot has the same skill like me with 0 flight hours. I am sure a newly graduated pilot with a Cesna license could show better landing on they first F-35 flight.
2. There was a serious problem with the avionics (computers) or with the engine, that prevented the pilot to control the speed of the aircraft, and made impossible the safe landing OR to abort the landing and increase the speed.

And based on the video there was more damage on the other aircrafts.

You need Qing Ting FM to listern to it, but it will be up on Bilibili by tomorrow
Shilao, Yankee and Ayi had their first podcast of 2022 and they dove straight into some interesting information about the F-35 crash:

  • Yankee forwarded the most recent video to his friend in PLA who are "relevant to the incident" and his response was "oh, oh yeah, so that's what it looked like from ground level, it's nice to have footage from another angle"
  • with this they apparently have enough footage to cut together a video of it from multiple angles, one from back of the ship, this one from the flight deck and one panoramic view from higher up
  • Shilao and Yankee said it's almost certain that as we speak, research papers are been written up inside PLA with titles like "A review of PLAN pilot training standards, based on F-35C landing incident by a certain country", "The necessity of prompt damage control on-board warships" and "The importance of OPSEC - from the aftermath of a certain incident"
  • Yankee and Shilao points out that if you find the above about PLA at the scene of the incident hard to believe, review the landing footage shot from the back of the ship - note that this F-35C was attempting to land while slinging two AIM-9X under its wings
  • there are rumours that Japan is interested both recovering the plane and repairing it to put it back into service, however unlikely that sounds

If the Japanese have alien tech then yes they can do it. Friggin thing has been in salt water for several weeks already. Imagine the amount of corrosion happening within the wreckage.

Plus.. At that depth lots of stuff would have been crushed and imploded...a F35 it aint a DSRV or that Alvin that found the Titanic

Depends on how many pressurised air-tight compartments there are in an F-35. Other than fuel tanks I can't think of any besides the cockpit, which would've been well-flooded once the pilot ejected and the bird hit the water anyway.

Are you sure the biggest issue of the USA NAVY is the condition of the scarp in the sea ?

I mean, they need to fish out that to find the reason of crash.

Biggest problem would be if China fish it out is they would have no clue what they need to fix before the next airplane crash .

It’s a TV show (called Power) playing in the background! :D

it’s 3 AUSAs talking about a drug case where they think one of their own is working with the drug gang, hence the mention of “Chinese walls” to keep information separate. One of them is Asian, and is apologised to, but corrects them by saying he’s “Korean”.
