Interesting the first picture have no pilots inside.

The second and the 3rd picture have the later half of the cockpit cut off to make it seems shorter than it is.

Actually the vis on the the F-35 may be better than you think, if you will notice the seat back is considerably larger in the F-18s and does present an obstruction, it is also very difficult to turn around when you are strapped in properly. In addition the F-35 does have a little more room vertically, kind of like the old Malcom Hood on the Spitfire and B model Mustang? IMHO?

No sir, they are not the same, but I believe the F-35 is better than the mig-21, also I'm of the opinion that you probably have a similar field of vision in both aircraft given the helmet and seat in the F-18, coupled with your restricted mobility. Now the F-18 obviously has a more open airy feeling, IMHO?

I already said everything is better than Mig-21, but F-35 is the worst visibility of all modern US jets. And F-18 is far better.

First of all, with F-18, you can actually look up and behind you. F-35 is far more restricted because you only see front and up.

Sorry J. I had my crow for today, A pilot is not a owl altough there is more glass the feild of veiw is about the same and there is one Us fighter class aircraft in service that has a worse feild of veiw then even your thinking of F35. It is likely too remain in service for atleast one more decade the A10C.

A-10 is not a jet fighter, if you want to count that, why not say C-5 and B-52?

Gee, I wonder how fast the cruiser was going? thankfully there werent any injuries.

I wonder if it was due to equipment failure or crew laxity. I'm more than willing to donate my made in China fish finder to the U.S. navy if it helps them detect subs
