What year did those boat enter service?
Those ships were commissioned in 1977 (511) and 1978 (512).

About time, the seasoned crews can be used to man the new vessels being commissioned. As someone else noted, seeing the number, size, and dedicated vessels being built for the CMS, FLEC, Coast Guard, don't believe 511, 512, or other remaining Jianghu I's being repurposed as CG ships. Looks like either scrapping or soft power token donations to other countries that would bolster relations. Perhaps Seychelles to help bolster her Coast Guard?
These old ships are expensive to operate and maintain.
for CG duties manueverability comes before top speed. they need AZPODS or side thrusters.
Jianghus are fuel thirsty and can go up to 25 kts but not as nimble. plus manning... a Jianghu takes hundreds to man. where as a comparable CMS ship would need 20-50?
The PLAN should have taken the opportunity to sell Pakistan the 525 and 526 lead 054 ships, which IMO are more capable than F-22P's and are still relatively new, and use the funds towards constructing 2 more 054A's.looks like China picked up orders for 4 more F-22Ps. Based on what I saw on Pakistani forums, 2 will be built in China and 2 in Karachi. I'm a little surprised that they are not going for 054A this time. We will have to see the design for this improved F-22P to see what kind of changes are made.

I can understand if Pakistan does not have long range requirements, but then I don't understand why it needs a 20,000 ton replenishment tanker....Type 054/A is a proven ocean going vessel for long range deployments, PN will never have those requirements
PN is soon going to replace a order for a 20,000 ton replenishment tanker with Karachi dockyard which has significant Chinese input
