Whats Russia going to do? There is 2000-5000 Russian soldiers near Finnish borders and their arctic units what would have spearheaded any invasion have been mauled in Ukraine. Russia got nothing and that explains why they aren't even trying to threaten our country with military action.
you must understand Finland is not Ukraine. Finland does not produce grains for global south and there is not much orthodox followers so its treatment form airpower will be very different. they dont need to threaten as they consider you irrelevant.
on other side Ukraine has importance for US due to its diaspora in US/Canada and Israel..

Germany announced the refusal to purchase Puma infantry fighting vehicles. Instead, the NATO Rapid Response Force will use the Marder infantry fighting vehicle. As it turned out, all 18 German Puma infantry fighting vehicles, which are in service with the 37th brigade, were out of order due to problems with electronics. The breakdown occurred over eight days of NATO Rapid Response Force exercises. They knew about the problems of armored vehicles, but no one thought that they would be so massive. The problems with the electronics escalated after the machines were given an excessive load. BMP "Marder" entered service with Germany in 2015 in the amount of 350 pieces. The vehicle is armed with a 30 mm MK 30-2/AVM automatic cannon, a 5.56 mm MG4 machine gun and a 76 mm grenade launcher.

Not even 90s. Vega is just pork barrel for the SLBM guys.
Europe has no replacement for the Soyuz until Ariane 6 comes out. Simple as that.
Stupid penny pinching politicians in Europe led to this result. Ariane 5 ESC-B was basically ready.

This could have been done a long time ago but thanks to Ursula we have the present situation with these assault rifles. It was her that kicked H&K out from the initial rifle competition.
