The high prices for nitrogen feed, something they need to run their farms.

I heard that the elites are trying to squeeze all of the small privately owned farms broke, so they can move in with their corporate owned farms and have the people depend on them.

I originally come from the Lower Rhine region and all the old folks here have relatives across the border in the Netherlands, I wonder if the german part of families takes part in solidarity of their netherland cousins.

Dutch government plans to decrease the use of nitrogen by 70% due to the fact that nitrogen causes pollution. However, the goal is unrealistic and detrimental to Dutch farmers as Dutch farmers are the biggest exporter of agricultural products in EU.

Didn't the Dutch government learn anything from Sri Lanka government's decision to ban chemical fertilizer back in March, which started the downhill slide that destroyed the country's economy and brought down government.

" No, Sri Lanka is a 3rd world country. We are the developed West. This will never happen to us. "
