If China has a strong recovery in 2023, demand for gas and oil will go up and Europe will have to compete with China and Japan for gas deliveries. Poorer countries like Bangladesh, that were supposed to take manufacturing from China, will be the ones left without energy.
So maybe this is one reason why there's been an explosion of China economic collapse predictions recently. If China has an economic crisis, gas demand will fall and Europe will be rescued. Of course if European industrial production collapses, that means cheaper energy for the rest of the world
