Lieutenant General
The garibaldi is 32 years old she would not need replacement for at least another twenty years guys. That's plenty of time for things to change on the ground.
Unlike Greece who doesn't have a penny to spend on its navy Italy on the other hand is doing extremely well
Italy plans to spend €5.8 over the next few years in the construction of more than 10 warships
This is made up of 8 multi purpose vessals, anmphibious assault vessal and a replenishment ship
The Amphibous assault vessal is under deign stage Fincantieri which will be like a LHD to replace one of the San Giorgio Class vessals
Larger design are underway to replace both flat tops by 2025 which really means Italy is expanding its naval flat tops
Italy is actually really good position second only to the UK and France, Spain is on its way down after retiring more Harriers
Next one to watch is Turkey although not in the same European sense they are building a large naval fleet
