Threw Pompeo's out there because he clearly has ambition for the White House, or else he would've ran for (and definitely would've won) the Kansas Senate seat vacancy had he seen Trump's defeat coming.

In a hypothetical world where COVID wasn't a thing and the US elects Trump based on the growth of the economy, it'd make sense for Pompeo to stay on in the State Department, as running for the Senate would've been seen as a 'step down' from being Secretary of State. I mean despite what mainstream media depicts, the Democratic primaries made every candidate (except for Bernie who was too old and dare I say past his prime, and Tulsi Gabbard... who single handedly pissed off the entire party establishment) look unelectable, and Trump had a legit shot to win big in the General Election. It would've made sense for Pompeo to stay on Trump's Administration to build onto his own run for the 2024 Republican nomination.

I can't see Pompeo disappearing into the sunset, I definitely think he sticks around the modern conservative movement. While the voices in California and New York tend to drown out the rest of the nation, nearly half of America voted for Trump.

I'd much rather see someone more moderate and competent like Nikki Haley or someone along the lines of a younger Mitt Romney run for the Republican nomination in 2024.

Pompeo is an optimal candidate to covid related heart attack in the next 4 years.

All these articles claiming what Biden's policies will be are just journalists or special interests throwing things out there they want Biden to follow hoping it sticks. In Hollywood you hear about a big movie that's going to be made and agents of actors will throw out their names that they got one of the roles when that hasn't happened hoping their names enter into the minds of producers when they do start looking for actors.

Joe Biden has to get Americans back to work. Trump, the simpleton, thought stopping outsourcing was going to get Americans jobs back. It didn't. The pandemic made the situation even worse. Remember how Americans believed China didn't buy anything from the US or anyone else? If that were the case then people thinking preventing China from buying computer chips wouldn't be such a big deal and death blow to China. Look at Australia how they're reeling over China's bans over their products. They think they can completely repeat the Opium Wars where they got everything they wanted from China and China got nothing. But they forget, that was accomplished using military aggression. Today they're going to get nuked if they tried that again. Just look at when news in recent months that China's economy was basically back to normal, you saw all these Western companies pushing for trade deals with China when before it was silence because everyone thought the US led trade war was going to decouple China from everyone else. I saw an economic forecast predicting by the end of this year or next, I forget which one, China will be the only country growing out of all industrialized countries in the world. Everyone else will experience negative growth. The US wants to believe in the path they're on now is the best one because they want to believe they're the ones in control. If they do, it's going to get worse. What they need is a complete reimagining of their perceptions of trade because now it's a fantasy and unrealistic. And China better take note because if they continue on the same path as usual, China should not throw them a bone like Beijing did with Trump and the Phase One deal so Trump can spin it as a victory so he can save face and continue on the same path.

I don’t think we should take a Biden win for granted just yet. It is telling that Trump has not conceded, and the Republicans as a whole are awfully quiet.

All of Trump’s lawsuits are just a waste of time. They cannot un-ring the bell. Trump’s lawsuits were dead in the water when they failed to get counts stopped.

Where Trump’s legal strategy failed is that it was too predictable and the Democrats were ready and waiting to stop any and all attempts to stop counts.

What these lawsuits are designed to do now is buy Trump time to decide it he wants to go for a hell merry and hope he could win power through violence on the streets.

It sounds far fetched, but then Trump have never been conventional. If he was serious about a 2025 run, he should have conceded already as the longer he holds out, the more damaging it is for his future presidential bid.

I think this is where the Democrats have overplayed their hand with the whole Mueller investigation and tax returns attacks.

I think Trump is genuinely scared that once he relinquishes power, that the Democrats will find a way to lock him up, and/or Epstein him. So it’s meaningless to tell him he will be the front runner in 4 years time if he doesn’t think he will be around to run in 4 years if he concedes now.

I think it is also interesting that neither Putin or Xi have as yet congratulated Biden on his win.

The odds are that Trump caves and hopes for the best, but there is still a non-zero chance he might do what he has always done - rip up the playbook when things don’t go his way and use raw power to get what he wants.

The key to a Trump coup would be to either get the US military on side, or at least keep them neutral and out of the fight. If it’s just down to his gun loving supporters against the pacifist woke left, it will be a turkey shoot (which is ironic as this might all kick off around thanksgiving).

The fate of 1.4 billion people's prosperity shouldn't depend on some Princess. If you cave in, the West can arrest any CCP official's sons/daughters studying in West on trumped up charges (pun intended), and use it as a bargaining chip.

The court case in Canada with Meng Wanzhou will last 10 years with appeals if she is not freed.

The longest extradition case in Canada lasted 10 years, a murder charge for someone to be extradited to the United States, which was a fairly regular type of case.

The chances of Meng Wanzhou being freed before that should have a chance.

Unlike European and Asia-Pacific countries where people favor the Democratic challenger, Taiwan is the only place where Trump beats Biden in terms of popularity, by 42 percent to 30 percent, according to the survey.
