i wondered if it might not be best for world peace if Pompeo were to suffer a severe and humiliating accident, but then i realised the problem is structural and cultural: the US as an anglo culture needs to think it is number 1, its people need that superiority complex- how else to cope with shit infrastructure and shit healthcare and shit working conditions? US ruling class need to maintain world leadership in tech and military otherwise it will be Revolution and civil war.

popular vote is not relevant in US election

Popular vote is still very important in American politics. Only the President is base on electoral college. Also people move to other states for Job. A good example is the state of Texas and Virginia. Currently, Virginia had become a blue state due to people moving to Northern Virginia for work. Texas is the going through the similar transition.

Do not assume for a minute that US - China relationship will improve under Biden. It could actually be worse.

At the end of the day, it will come down to the US economy. Currently, the US economy is running on printing money. This cannot go forever.

If they do something about Guo wengui then i'll believe in better US-China relations. Otherwise it's just gonna be back to normal racism.
