Trump is right that he has gone further than any other US President in regards to going up against China and it did nothing good for the US. What makes anyone think Biden will be more successful doing the same thing? He's going to get allies on board? They were already on board with Trump. They going stop buying their own products they outsource to China? Look at how much trouble Trump had stopping outsourcing to China. Allies have already joined Trump's tech Cold War. Short of military action, that's the biggest thing they can do. They going to gang up and not buy from China? And China won't buy from them. They're going to need China to help them recover. They're greedy. I've said it before and I say it now and I'll it again. Look at Australia. They didn't think their anti-China rhetoric was going to come at a cost? They stuck to their guns and China punishes them in return and the Australia cries foul. Own it, Australia. If Western countries think they can withstand China not buying from them then why is Australia complaining? It's lobsters and barley not high tech. That hurts them that much? What ever happened to how they can find other markets to sell to...? How about selling beef to India? China can find other sources to buy from. How about buying American or Canadian lobster instead? They didn't back Japan when they had tensions with China. They quickly took Japan's place so they can sell to China. China can sow discontent within seeing their allies making the money they think belongs to them.

If Biden follows Trump, the US economy is going to get worse and the Republicans won't be sticking by Biden, they're going to blame and use it against him in the next election. The Democrats would follow Trump in a trade war against China. Republicans would gladly blame the Democrats for the same trade war they started.

State crimes can't be pardoned by president i believe.

Also, Pence might be like "i hated kissing ur ass for the last 4 years, u can go get ur salad tossed"
Trump actually thinks he has the right to pardon himself, we will see if his name on the final list.

Nixon was an example where he was pardon before he was indicted I believe certainly before any trial. Trump pardoning himself I've seen being discuss on TV but no one really had any answers. If you watch Bill Maher, he came up with a new term called Gussing. It's after the Disney movie Gus. It's about a football team that hired a mule to kick footballs. Other teams complained you can't have a mule playing football but there was no rule in the book that said only humans can play football so Gus the mule got to play football. Apparently there is no law that says a President can't pardon himself because no one thought something like that could happen.

There's nothing there that can protect him when Deutsche Bank forecloses on him and seizes his properties.

Bill Maher is a bit too low. this is Russell's Paradox, which nearly killed mathematics in the beginning of the 20th century.
