Not sure what's wrong with Georgia. It's stuck at 96% reporting forever.
NC result won't be announced until 12 November

I'm not sure. The removal of term limits made a lot of people anxious. On the other hand, a lot of apolitical Chinese probably don't even know the term limits were removed. What would their reactions be if a leadership change didn't happen as they had expected? If Trump is still in power and are very hostile to China it could be explained as an emergency measure. If Biden isn't overly hostile to China then how is Xi going to justify his third term to the public? This is not a democracy vs autocracy issue. People can see Xi's 10 years of rule as legitimate and indeed good but still think it's unjustified to stay on for another 5 years.

The term limit that was removed was only for the presidency of the country, a largely ceremonial position. You know what happened in the past, the president would be beholden to the shadow leader behind the scenes, like Jiang was to Deng, and Hu was to Jiang.

The removal of the term limits brings an end to that kind of government and brings the Chinese government fully into the modern era.

Now if Biden wins (as he's likely to), how would that change the potential impact of Xi serving a third term? It would be less of a problem if Trump wins as Trump would provide a cover by getting all the hate. Xi almost have to serve a third term as all members of Politburo Standing Committee are of his generation.
No one is in charge.

Trump was sort of like in charge of the major things. The minor things it was all the Pompeo and Navarro versus Mnunchin show.

Biden appears to be fully senile. Someone is in charge. Just not him.

Especially with the Republicans looking likely to take the Senate, many of Biden's Cabinet picks will be practically disqualified, especially Susan Rice (I could be wrong... But her confirmation in committee and in the Senate could get really ugly). It'll be interesting to see how Biden's Administration will shape up now, since like you said it'll be them and Kamala running the shit show and not Biden himself.

I want someone more liberal than Xi tbh, either that or he can loosen up.

The only liberalism China should embrace is Liberalism with Chinese Characteristics - adapting the parts best suited to China's interests, while throwing out the rest. China ought to decide for itself what it means to be liberal than let foreign (and potentially hostile) entities do it instead.

I mean mostly economically liberal, Chinese potential must be unleashed during these times.
