The Americans have basically dumped Saudi Arabia and left it alone to ward of its enemies. Would be hilarious if not that serious

They're desperate; the US is basically like Russia after the 1905 civil revolt and before the 1917 Russian Revolution; they need a Rally around the Flag war to maintain power and hegemony- and the US anglo western elites have already made preparations with bunkers and dachas in new zealand.

Of course it could be that fracking and the fact that US is now energy-independent means that they can just tell Saudi to do one?

Just remember those very missile defense systems did nothing when Iran notified the US it was going to retaliate telling them the window when it was going to happen. All those reports of US military personnel hunkered down in their bunkers still suffering brain damage from the concussion waves... The US knew the time and where from. A perfect environment for missile interception yet they didn't use it to even protect their own soldiers. What's a possible answer? Even in the perfect scenario, there was the chance it wouldn't work as hyped. And they feel comfortable to say those assets are going to be used against China now. Don't use them and hype is still intact. Where were they when Saudi Arabia's oil refineries were attacked?

I think the puppet masters are really thinking of money in the military complex and political lobbying... the problem is the part of the US mob is totally crazy and may want/think it for real. Visit any us based military pic/discussion board, and the comments get unhinge whenever China is mention.

One problem is that in the event that the Anglo world goes down, NZ could easily be targeted for all of these people and at the end of the day be brought to heel simply because they are a thorn that needs to be plucked and the best part is that in the event that the US does leave the world stage, there will be far more people that want the Anglos to be put 1000 feet under then anyone that really wants to protect them because really, other then wars and coups, what else do they bring to the world

Im not so sure SSN or SSBN for AU changes anything. USN SSN and SSBNs are already lurking about, how does some AU boats change anything?

AU boats won't get commissioned before 2030. Let's see how the world looks like in 8-9 years.
