Hi KYli,

I'm reading and watching the comments from different articles and blogs, Man I see trouble ahead, hope sanity prevail. Trump supporters believe the election is rigged BIG TIME, that's 35% of American population, a huge number, and there's Rush Limbaugh advocating state independence, Reminiscent of event before the US civil war. Trump himself is destroying the American Institution with lies, deceit and conspiracies theory that will only exacerbate already tense situation. I really counting on the majority patriotic American to stand up, stop this insanity before it got out of hand and save your country. Ohh one more thing, All of this I blame the MAIN STREAM MEDIA as a culprit, they created Trump, now its legacy is permeate within a significant portion of US society.

well, definitely not 35% of the US population, the extremist number I'd say less than 1 M ... not a big deal

The US is very divided country .... and the problem is they hate each other (Republic and Democrat) and even much more since Trump

I wouldn't be surprised some would suggest some states would want to separate ... i.e California or Texas

Thanks for the update, wooh !!! what A relief, I always believe that American rationale will prevail.

Yup cause they're the richest state, they want to control their purse and don't want to subsidize the whole country.

I think those divides will grow even more larger in the future, despite what msm always said that China have a demographic problem but at least han Chinese will always be a majority in their own country, the same cannot be said about america, whites will be minority in around 2044
And american whites are not the kind that will ride away in sunset peacefully, their pride and arrogance won't allow it
Imagine the racial tensions and unrest that will happen when they become minority, even now when whites still majority they already whitelashed by electing trump
Lets hope they don't become full on fascist by then

Hi bajingan,

The US can always ask it's FIVE EYES allies to ask their citizen to settled in the state to solve their demographic problem and maintain the WHITE PRIVILEDGE balance    while restricting others. The trend I'm seeing is that the whites had prefer the Indian as their new servant (acceptable and complaint), placing them in key position( most of them are immigrant Brahmin) , just like what the British had done during their colonial days.

And the way they discriminate Chinese students and scientists and accusing them of being spies, i can also see a reverse brain drain in america which in turn will results in innovation decline
No longer will China best and brightests migrate to the us, who wants to be arrested simply for being scientist and they can't even if they want anyway, science and tech will be off limits to Chinese students in the near future
Which is great news for China, they get to keep their geniuses and help transform China into an innovation powerhouse

Hi bajingan,

Another thing, regarding the demographic problem the US is facing, we have to differentiate the Hispanic group into two. The Mexican and the others (mostly Cuban immigrant and other Latin American mestizo). The former is a threat (mostly natives) the latter is acceptable since they're basically white a mixed Spanish race or mestizo and can easily assimilate into the US society, They're basically the core of Trump supporters. Here in the Philippines most of those opting to settled in the US are the same, professional mestizos (Filipino with Chinese, Spanish and American lineage) and their loyalty is heavily favor to their adopted country (the US). The reason may varied, but for most Chinese filipino that I know aside from good paying job and opportunity is being accepted by the community, That's what make America so attractive.

I tend to agree with the poster Josh Luo.

There are two sides at a negotiation table, not one.
Oh, just thought of something before bedtime.

It is those North Koreans. We use to hear stories about how the negotiations would go.

What they would negotiate about, was this meeting between commanders, was to schedule a negotiation meeting. That was it, North and South would argue over it.

Then the Koreas agree to meet, to start negotiations. Then that negotiations would be to set the agenda for negotiations.

Setting the agenda for negotiations, tend to be a few rounds.

Then on the more contentiousness points of the agenda for negotiation, they would negotiate how broad a scope for each is available for both sides to negotiate on.

Another couple of rounds of negotiations go by.

Then when some actual and substantial negotiations happen, some side may raise objections, or introduce something new. The talks have dragged on for so long already, the facts on the ground may have changed.

Then they would start haggling again, in the middle of the negotiation, to negotiate what is agreeable to put back onto the agenda again.

You do not believe this?

Well ...

How many rounds did it take for the United States and China with Trump and Xi to reach phase 1 of their trade deal?

And did the negotiations start out with both sides wanting to implement the trade deal in phases, or was it a new item introduced late in the negotiations?

This just happened not too long ago. We should know the answer!

:p

It is like what the Chinese Communist Party says, a cadre would say, show some flexibility please.

Then CCP tries to negotiate you to death.

I think on that score, they tend to win more than they lose.

But lets keep that a secret. Long live Chairman Mao!

 :D
