The satellite that took the photo is most likely one that is owned either by US or Europe.

If it is from China, then someone will be going for a tea invitation regardless if the satellite photo circulation is within Chinese internet or outside, so unlikely that it is originated from China.

Also, people who think the work progress is slow have no idea that internal work inside the hull take as much time as fabrication and joining of modules, if not more. More than thousands of km of power cable, signal cable and pipings etc are being installed, and out of our eye sights.

Carriers were highly vulnerable since their very invention.
Dozens were sunk during WW2, sometimes several fleet carriers in a single day.

Carriers are used not because they're invulnerable - these are but illusions of peacetime (illusions of civilians mostly).
Carriers are used because there is no alternative to tactical aviation at sea.

Most of piping and cable already installed in the module and major equipment too, but maybe not boiler and steam turbine. But they have to hook it up that is a lot of works. Testing of piping work and power system and rework take time.

look like the engine room is closed already. Ventilation and AC duct is being reduced.

... and they were withdrawn from the theater of war when their vulnerability was out of proportion to their potential usefulness.

There is one catapult under cover. I expect threetimes the time this carapult needs to be finished as remaining time until leaving the drydock.t
