CV-18 Fujian/003 CATOBAR carrier thread

At present, Fujian is ~100 kilometers southwest of Huangdicun Air Base in Bohai Sea. She's now at a new exercise area (after the previous exercise area in the Yellow Sea expired two days ago), of which the associated no-entry announcement stated that the Bohai exercise area will last until the 24th of July.
More interestingly, there is another airborne object seen behind the stern of the carrier. Judging by the roughly-measured width of the object, it does seem that the object matches the wingspan of the KJ-600.

could be the KJ-600 AWACS even doing touch and gos?

Missed the @ sign? That is likely the id of whom posted the image originally. The image’s own date is right above it, “2024-07-19”.
Kind of odd that they're all keeping so far away.
