Fujian's 2nd sea trial will be extended until June 16th.

The duration of sea trial conducted this time will become more than 3 weeks - A rare occurence.

Seems like the above information is wrong. Looks like Fujian will return to Shanghai on the 11th of June. Posted by @foolsball on Twitter.

How common or unusual it is to have a second sea trial that seems quite long?
In Yankee today’s article, he wrote: In the history of chinese aircraft carrier navigation tests, it is not the first time that a single sea trial has lasted more than 20 days. For example, the 9th sea trial of the Liaoning lasted 25 days, and the 7th sea trial of the Shandong lasted 23 days. But this is only the second sea trial of the Fujian, and it will last more than 20 days - equivalent to the sum of the second and third sea trials of the Liaoning.
