The most obvious part, the flight deck & the island are deferent from the earlier ship.

Yeah, dimensions as in max LxWxH. I know they did some reworking of the island to give more deck space.

On both ships, the upper end of the ski ramp is at bridge window level.

Angle of camera is different in those two photo(Judging from the horizon). It's had to say that the level is the same.

It doesn't matter whether the ramp is 12 or 14 degrees. The upper end is in the same place, it starts a little sooner or later.



With a steeper ramp more space to park aircraft behind the ramp is available. Allowable aircraft speed and weight will be less, if the ramp is steeper.

Why does the ship show a conspicuous list to port?

also, the hull appear to have underwater blister or bulge on the port side. This has not been commented on AFAIK.

Regarding the list, the ship might be making a hard right turn? I see the "blister" on the port side as an optical illusion. It's likely ballast water is being drained.
