just from the photos of them it's clear its ski ramp isn't as steep as on the CV-16. The Chinese would be stupid not to make it better & longer.

Please, not any random report based on hearsay and rumours often enough repeated so that in the end especially Western media with bad or no research take it for granted; like this stupid "it is longer" theme ... give us a prove, show us an image.

For a long time people were saying Shandong's ramp angle was optimised to 12 degrees, but it was been decisively settled in recent days thanks to that CCTV video on the ship. Note @Deino's post here for screenshots of the video

One of the screenshot specifically says it's 14 degrees.

even if the angle is the same, by some indications, the length isn't. Which pics r we supposed to trust?

I must admit I'm slowly loosing any patience and I'm no longer in the mood to accept any lame - in fact stupid - drawing set aside to another one only to prove what is commonly known: There are several images available proving they are the same and you take any random artwork besides a very different artwork and think this is convincing?=

Sorry, either you show us something with more substance or I'll rate it as trolling.

By the way, this sketch of no. 17 is not even close to the real layout.

2 dgrees difference won't be visible, esp. from that angle.

Oh yes, a change in angle is not visible but it results in a length-difference of 10m?? Are you trying to fool us?
