Wow specially built fire truck for carrier small and compact.

It will take couple more days for onboarding of equipment,provision and people.Plus the crew need to get familiar with the ships layout and accomodation

Actually it takes a week or more for a sailor to get familiar with an aircraft carrier. These PLAN shipmates will fit right in. No issue with that. I'm sure they have had multiple weeks of training in the many aspects of carrier life.

I think, Liaoning has two crews and it is the spare crew of Liaoning that will man the 2nd carrier. After that they will form four crews at all.

Yes, there is. Because the ship needs a lot of fresh boiler water.

Correct answer. I don't know what the capacity/output of CV-17 desalination is. Fresh water is needed for feed water for the boilers. Water for the crew as in the galley, taking showers, cleaning & of course drinking.

On a Nimitz class the desalination plants produce 400,000 gallons(1.240 million LT) of fresh water daily at sea. So much is needed because the catapults consume a lot of water. Another consideration is the crew is much larger.
