1) The window wipers on PLAN ships are mounted externally above the windows, and thanks to the clarity of the photo, I can tell that they have yet to be installed.
2) I can actually make out the words Xi Jinping and Chairman on those red banners.
3) And also, the optical landing system has been installed.

You probably know what I'm referring to, but just to be clear I am talking about this:


It could still be an artifact of the picture quality, but it does seem to have the right shape.

Jesus Christ, look at the speed of construction of the civilian ship in the drydock.

Speaking of that civilian ship, it was launched three days ago on the 27th.

Amazingly fast 7 months from keel laying to launch
Now it is CV17 turn to go back to dock for final painting and last minute inspection,modification before trial

If it is indeed the APARs then launch will be relatively soon. They are usually one of the last major pieces to be installed.

Still trying to verify what's happening, apparently CCTV's weibo account posted something (which I cannot access) about this and I found conflicting info...
