If you look closely you can see it is to hang the electrical wires that feeds to all the tools and welding equipment needed. It's to prevent those wires from touching the ground of the deck basically IMO.

Didn't see that image so far. I guess they could launch it within weeks if it's indeed that complete. And while in theory it could be a 2 billion dollar ship, that'd require some creative accounting or a misunderstanding of costs definition. Perhaps multi billion pricetag for the first batch of 4, or something like that. Not per ship itself.

I think he meant that 2 ships in the billion dollar class will be launched.

Wow that was indeed fast. April 23 definitely seems quite plausible now.

Hmmmm?.. Images Do not show but I think they are like this one. Indeed a fast development and indeed a hint for March 23... But will it also receive its pennant number before launch?
