A Chinese USN sailor post the video and photos on his twitter. He mentioned J-15
low passed over the US warship. His account is now defunct.
No. Because that twitter account and everything else you know about that person is now tied to him/her being deployed on that warship. OpSec is completely gone at that point. He's probably in deep shit right now. They are doing the Chinese secret keeping thing now? Bummer.
And tbf, the fact he's Chinese will bring in more suspicion upon himself. He shouldn't have posted anything.No. Because that twitter account and everything else you know about that person is now tied to him/her being deployed on that warship. Yeah there's a reason I don't post anything about me specifically. I already get enough shit for being Chinese, I don't need to add "doesn't hate China" to the suspicion. And tbf, the fact he's Chinese will bring in more suspicion upon himself. He shouldn't have posted anything.
According to this, Japan has sent JS Suzutsuki to monitor the CSG, so that could be it. That being said, I'm neither equipped nor confident at identifying such silhouettes.
The JS Suzutsuki probably stayed in the East Philippine Sea for exercises with the USN there. If the picture is in the South China Seas --- West Philippine Sea as the Filipinos want to call it --- then what you see there is the JS Akebono. The JS Akebono has been touring the SCS for about a month visiting different countries and holding drills. It is likely to be the ship in the most convenient spot to check up on the Liaoning CSG. As the Liaoning CSG breaks off to the Spratleys, the JS Akebono will head to Vietnam for a visit there.
