It's a well known phenomenon where Chinese TV editors speed up footage of movement, perhaps wanting to make it more sensational. Planes taxiing, vehicles and troops moving, etc are often given the unnecessary treatment.

The Vigilante had a swept wing?

They had swept wing but not like a Tomcat.. the wing tips folded up as did the tail. My memory failed me...here's a photo of Vigilantes aboard....Independence sometime in the early to mid 1970s...

These are great photos of the recent CV-16 ops..one thing though..

The J-15 carrier-borne fighter jets sit on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier Liaoning prior to a night training exercise on July 1, 2017. The Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning and its carrier strike group carried out realistic training in an undisclosed sea area on July 1, 2017.
