Foxconn is a Taiwanese company that operates somewhat like the Singapore Flextronix... kind of high-end contract manufacturing. They produce iphones, for example, and have factories in China and throughout SE Asia as well. They are famous for suicides, and so they're in the news.
I understand the other stuff, but most other people won't!
Hahaha... The most funny thing is the world is the entity is right in front of you yet you can't recongnize it.
In this case, the difference between the English name and the Chinese name, kills me. Man, Foxconn is 富士康! I guess this dose conclude that the more a enterprise name is known in its original language to its native people, the less its "International" name is known to the native people. - Everyone knows 富士康, so hell who cares its english name?
Exactly to the topic, when CPC makes its presence in big enterprise like Foxconn, in the situation of otherwise no way to "touch" this kind of (nearly) monopoly enterprise who can afford the best lawyers money can buy, and chest-thumbing the victims - CPC can make a difference, while not necessary to do it on court. People virtually strike on Foxconn's resolve, with the blessing of CPC's back up, Foxconn in the end have to accept what ever terms that favors the labors, which won't happen or at least happens in such a short time, by go through court trails.
CPC got its own problem nowadays, but CPC makes benifit to the foundation of Chinese people, like no other.
