I notice the new strain of virus in the UK is known as B.1.1.7. Assuming that the B stands for the original source strain which you said was the one that was mainly found in China and SE Asia. Am I wrong in thinking that had The UK been as efficient as China, and enforced a stricter lockdown the newer more contagious strain may not have evolved so readily?

The B variant is mainly found in Wuhan. I recall the variant in Europe is mainly of the C type. I'm not sure UK is using the same convention in naming the virus. The "B" in B.1.1.7 may not be referring to the Variant B of the study very early on in the pandemic.

That doesn't explain the cluelessness and inaction of the authorities early on in the pandemic. The provincial party officials were still holding year-end dinners in the villages/towns in Wuhan which is how the virus got to spread to the wider population of Hubei province.

He's the one trying to report Xinjian is a big cesspool of concentrate camps. He often paint China in a bad light? Either by exaggerating, by innuendos, by omitting, by manipulation, and when all fails by just plain lying.

I especially object that my tax paying money go towards his big fat salary and a knighthood to come.

Here, he try to manipulate and corner our spokesperson with regards to China stand on the origin of the virus. Just watch how this evil snake operate. It's a good job we got Hua Chun Ying. If that was me up there, I would've come down from my press presentation, and knock his lights out! Oh, and I'm not a violent man! Lol

Why do taiwanese have to play so dirty:

Dr Yi-Chun Lo said the outbreak could have been avoided if there was more transparency.

Why they make these claims after prove that outbreak spread internationally long before being discovered in Wuhan?


And they think they can represent Chinese culture. How to reason with people like this in the future other than through force?

Let me give you the price difference regarding Sinovac and others below, definitely there is a price gouging going on and the Chinese embassy for the first intervene and had to issue a public statement saying their Vaccine is on the cheaper side. The health dep't officially enter a contract with a private enterprise not with the Chinese gov't so there is corruption involved or to sabotaged the vaccine introduction. My conclusion is sabotaged , look at the controversy it create and it accuse China of complicity. That's why Wang Yi had to visit and donate 500k of vaccine. Election campaign is already starting and the opposition and wanna be President try to seize the initial by making the President look bad. But as I said he hold the cards cause he had secure us a vaccine.
