One of the eight doctors who first reported the outbreak passed away due to complications related to the corona virus. He is survived by his parents and his wife, who is pregnant with his second child. Rest In Peace.

When a professional journal like NEJM retracts a paper, it issues a publish a statement of retraction and explains the reason for it. When a news organization removes an article, the reporter just moves on and write another "sensational" piece of news.
