Honestly, I don't think Winningest Leader would care if those "anti-lockdown" armed lunatics parading around in the state capitols caught COVID 19 and die off, or even if his campaign donors kneel over from the Coronavirus (after their checks clear first).

Yeah, you can say that America is a victim of their prolonged America Exceptionalism mindset. Their(US politicians and general population as a whole) mistaken thinking that the virus outbreak in China is somehow due to poor governance model of an incompetent communist regime, which imply that the outbreak and damage won't be as serious in a first world developed liberal nation like America. It cause Americans to process thinking in a highly unscientific and irrational manner. Turnout the virus did not aim nations by their ideology.

The virtues of American Exceptionalism indeed. It's not even about being "America First" anymore. It is more about "America Only" where America continue to coerce WHO to America's will in the midst of an pandemic and the rest of the world be damned.

worker safety for dis-proportional minority essential workers = bad DJIA = bad for election
disproportional more african americans and hispanics death = good for election
pandemic collateral damage < good DJIA number = good for election
