A video by BBC on living conditions of those dorms came to me today. I upload that to Youtube to send that onwards as I could not find the original source via Facebook BBC.

Might enlighten you somewhat as BBC (and all other western MSM) very wary of stepping on toes here and circumspect with what they decide to write.

Unlike that mscitw in Sammyboy.

well I wanted to know how many of them ("migrant workers") are there in Singapore, of course approximately, and why they weren't kicked out?

I know you said you'd answered, and your answer was deleted -- increasing my curiosity

2009 was a deflationary shock, 2020 is an inflationary shock.

Loosing productive capacity, and having helicopter money means inflation.

Due to the virus spread the international trade fallen to pieces, many industry simply ceased to exist overnight, and all of the demand chasing now less and less product.

Result ? Inflation .

The coronavirus is a deflationary shock as I said before.

The UK March 2020 figures and the overall 2020 projection is below.
This should be representative of what happens elsewhere.

The UK's inflation rate fell to 1.5% in March, largely driven by falls in the price of clothing and fuel ahead of the coronavirus lockdown.

The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) fell from 1.7% in February, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Clothing stores had offered more discounts as shoppers began staying at home, it said. Falling oil prices also resulted in cheaper petrol prices.

Economists warn inflation could slide to 0.5% in 2020 as the economy shrinks.
