now a thought occurred to me: to check against a typical daily number of deaths;
those two and a half thousand additional deaths = about one third of a typical value (

This needs to be a meme for stupid people:

"This is COVID-19, not COVID-1 folks, and so you would think the people in charge of the World Health Organization, facts, and figures, would be on top of that."

- Kellyanne Conway, White-house Adviser (April 15th, 2020)

I only wish they capitalized on that and led her off with, "But COVID-16, 17 and 18 weren't nearly as destruction. President Obama made some mistakes during COVID-18, wouldn't you agree?"

If you look at the measures in China that were used to protect the other provinces from the Hubei outbreak, the discussion about what a travel warning between China and other countries should have looked like is objectified.

now high on top of us.cnn.com and FoxNews there're article which might violate

instead I ask again what have the CIA, NSA, the Pentagon etc. done since the outbreak in China, three plus months ago, to prevent tens of thousand American deaths now

States with humanist governments deal differently with the Covid-19 pandemic than countries with populist governments. Which is a very simplified view. States with humanist governments generally have better protection of the population against illness and unemployment, which is why a lockdown there has less adverse effects on the life of the population and negative consequences for the country's economy. The quick decision for a lockdown is therefore easier to make there.

I think it's an interesting topic that should be examined very carefully after the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Only at the end of the pandemic, because it still has to be considered whether the governmental structure also has an impact on the recovery.

during this Easter I was thinking what'd change because of COVID-19, and I'll post this one before I forget:

it's going to be impossible to fly while having a fever, the same way as it's now impossible to take a manicure set to aircraft cabin
(in December of '01 while leaving the US I had to throw away my manicure set which I had put into my hand luggage, fortunately it was kinda obvious I wasn't a hijacker)

one other change is Jura is losing faith in the US government’s capabilities

May be, the airlines are allowed to carry only 60 passangers in an aircraft that was designed for 180 seats? They have to remove every second row of seats?

The great D throwing tantrums.
I am ordered not to use what Dear Leader or Supreme Leader (never got the hang of which leader) Kim of N Korea called Donald Trump so as not to bring disrepute to this august forum.

A word that got me going to my dictionary, as I guessed with most of you to find that exact meaning.
Which I found probably be applying to me in the near future.

And now to that great D tantrum .

D claims other countries are covering up coronavirus deaths. USA now having 20 percent world deaths with 4 percent of world population. And C19 just started in USA.

The GOLD standard of Singapore lead by a cabinet and politicans paid more
than the total pay given to the combined cabinets of G8 countries

My apologies for X axis. I lost my flair and besides I more used to Excel instead of free spreadsheet.
But I am sure you folks got the picture.

In just one day, yesterday 15 April 2020, Singapore GOLD standard managed to add 447 more C19.

Bad news spread faster than Ruler Loong can say "sue my siblings" .... transmodified from Mouthpiece CNA
hxxps://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/covid-19-new-cases-record-447-cluster-local-unlinked-apr-15-12643698

PEASANTPORE: Peasantpore scored another own goal when it reported a record 447 new Wuhan Plague cases on Wednesday (Apr 15), taking the national total to 3,699.

Peasantpore took a day to eclipse what the crass Formosa did so far to contain Wuhan Plague in a few full moons.

Four new mass orgy clusters were identified, including three foreign serfs dormitories.

"If we test more, sure got more cases, so don't worry, its normal.", said an unnamed MOH lackey.

MOH Lackey, shouldn't you guys be testing them earlier huh?
WEAR A MASK EDICT
Ruler Loong has FINALLY passed a edict stating that it is now mandatory to wear a mask when stepping out of the house.

Peasants caught refusing to wear a mask will be fined 300 peanuts on their first offence, while those who flout the rule a second time will be fined 1000 peanuts. Egregious cases will be prosecuted by 山木庚.

Announcing the new edict on Tuesday, Minion for National Development Lawlan Wong said this applies to all workplaces as well.

Foreign serfs caught breaching these rules will be given 'balek kampong notice'.

Health Minion Gan Ah Yong on Tuesday said that by and large, local docile peasants are taking DORSCON PINK measures seriously, but the masses cannot be complacent unlike the Minions and lackeys.

Ah Gan, who co-chairs the disgraced Multi-Millionaire task force set up to handle the Wuhan Plague situation, said: "I don't want to talk about KPIs, cheaper Formosa, Koreans or even Sweden outperforming me. I need to find a hole on the ground and hide my millionaire head in that hole."

Peasantpore did an U-turn has put in place DORSCON Pink measures. The regime spins it as a circuit breaker period to stem the spread of Wuhan Plague. The panic spider measures - which include closing non-essential workplaces and schools - will be in place for one month until May 4.
