Current situation in China, all numbers are national:
  • More than 80,000 deaths in about 3 years
  • 12,658 in-hospital COVID-19 deaths from January 13-19
  • 6,364 in-hospital deaths from Jan 20-26
  • 215,958 hospitalized
  • 24,262 in serious condition
  • The total number of people over 60 years old is 264.02 million, of these, 192 million have received a booster dose. China can administer about 40 million doses in a month, so China will need about 2 months to give a booster dose to the rest of those who are older than 60, assuming most doses of vaccines are given to this age group.

Booster doses probably don't matter much now. Pretty much everyone has caught the actual virus already, which should be more effective than any vaccine booster.
