Again, please get some medical knowledge before coming here to rant.
The fact that the virus is transmissible without symptoms goes hand in hand with the fact that in most people, the virus is not life threatening. You cough because your lungs are reacting to a pathogen. You get a fever because your body is trying to fight off a pathogen. If you don't have a fever and you don't have much of a cough, it likely means your immune system is keeping the pathogen suppressed.
I posted this video earlier in the thread, maybe you missed it. If you don't believe us, maybe you would believe a leading expert on the coronavirus?
Dr. Hilgenfeld says very clearly that he expects the virus to disappear on its own in 6-12 months as everyone gets the antibodies. Until then, just practice safe hygiene and you'll be fine.
so I just checked the numbers.. 461 in critical condition & 80 dead so in total 541 are either dead or in critical contion , so if you get the Wu flu there is a 20% chance you would either be on death's doors or totally dead, but yeah sure it's just like influenza like what some people here say.
regarding what should be (or should have been) done, just like what I said before they discovered the virus like 1 month ago or more if I'm not mistaken, yet officials only started spreading awarness between people few days ago! I read an article which I believe had a good point, Xi Jinping's anti corruption campaign has backfired big time, when the officials in Wuhan found out about the virus they tried to deal with it without spreading awarness between the people all because they didn't want a public backlash which in turn would result in Xi punishing them for incompetence, they thought they could solve the problem prompetly without warning the people to take all precautions, if back in mid or late 2019 they started warning people against going into crowded areas, wear masks, get your self checked in hospital if you have fever etc... it would have been far much easier to control the crisis, yet now here we are.. just because a bunch of officials wanted to avoid punishment & save face. there are reports that some posts on the internet that critisized the Wuhan officials were deleted.

First of all, "critical condition" does not mean "dying". It means the patient needs intensive care such as intubation. It's no picnic, but it's far away from "death's doors".
Second, the confirmed cases number just means people who are already sick enough to go to the hospital. The actual number of infected is unknown, but likely extremely high. In turn, this means it's not a 20% chance of "death or critical".
Here's a comparison with flu numbers:
~12,200 hospitalizations and 3500 deaths each year. Using your logic, that's a staggering 28.7% death rate for regular flu! See the problem here?
Third, China alerted WHO on December 31 of several cases of pneumonia where the virus did not match any other known virus. A week later, on January 7th, Chinese authorities identified the new virus. Two weeks after that, Chinese authorities ordered the lock-down of Wuhan, a city of 14 million people.
In my book, that's extremely swift action. Some might even call it draconian.
In contrast, this is the response of Canadian public health officials in the wake of the first confirmed case of coronavirus in Toronto:

I will take a guess & say the Japanese are probably only there to treat their own people that are still in China? however if they are actullay there to help Chinese citizens then that would be very good.
I was wondering why doesn't China hire doctors from abroad just for this crisis? for example from India and many other countries since doctors in China are overwoked, as long as they have translators they can comunicate just fine.

Unfortunately we don't have a worm hole that allows us to go back in time and change any of the things you want to change. I'm asking what we should do from now on with the current situation at hands. You don't like our insistence to stay calm. So what do you do? Let's forget about all of us irrelevant people. Please share with us what you are doing? Based on your assessment, the situation is grave and people are dropping left and right. Before long, this critter will be all over the world. Here at the Texas Medical Center, they use a shame tactic to shame you into taking the flu shot. Every employee who has taken the flu shot has a little yellow tag on their ID badge. And they would show off their little tag and shame us into taking the shot too. Just the other day, a colleague of mine, who is a gastroenterologist, tapped his ID badge and was like "I got my tag, where is yours?" And my shameless and thick skin so far has prevented me from being shamed into taking the shot...
Maybe I should...My parents took flu shots every year but they still got flu almost every year. In a normal year, they claim flu shots effective rate is 67% but last year it is just 29%.
