Who gives a s..t..these losers aren't all Chinese or living in China but are mostly based in Taiwan and elsewhere.
They didn't win jack shit. It was already been heavily suspected prior to the western hijacked protests that the central government was going to loosen up the rules/revised the dynamic covid-19 policy. The implications of what you wrote viciously suggest that CPC change in policy is sudden which means without careful thought and planning, haphazard which could result and lead to an even more negative outcome which is flat out ridiculous.
Quit reading too much into those losers commentaries since they never represent the true sentiment of the Chinese people at all. Rebel? Please....more like losers.
Well with what was supposed to be a gradual process becoming an almost overnight lifting of restrictions in Tier 1 cities, could you blame people for assuming that the protesters won rather than this all being a coincidence that they protested right when the government was already going to ease Zero Covid?
Anyhow why is this a bad thing? The episode proved you don't need a democracy to have a government for the people, by the people. Not to mention it debunks one of the enduring narratives that China has a strong government but weak civil society, while India has a weak government but strong civil society. Chinese people hold their government accountable when they cross the line, Indians go along with whatever their craziness their government has in store as long as they continue to let them hate Muslims.
