From the press briefing in Beijing at 3pm on April 1, by the State Council's covid task force.
Between March 1 and March 31, mainland added 103,965 new cases in 29 provincial level regions. Jilin province added some 44000, Shanghai added about 36000 and caused spreads beyond its borders. 5 more provincial level regions had more than 1000 cases, 12 had more than 100.
The spreads in Shanghai, Jilin city and Changchun of Jilin province are still not stopped. Daily new cases are likely to grow in these locations before dropping.
There are still risk of community spread in Liaoyang of Liaoning province., Tangshan of Hebei, and Quanzhou of Fujian.
In the provinces of Shangdong, Jiangshu and Zhejiang, daily numbers are going downwards.
Guangdong has stablized although still at risk of imported cases (from HK?). It's also stable in Beijing as the new cases in the last 5 days were all found in the populace in quarantine.
Up to March 31, mainland has administered 3,270,874,000 vaccine shots to 1,277,709,000 persons, That is 90.63% of the whole population. Among them, 1,242,281,000 persons (88.11% of the whole population), have completed vaccination (2 shots). Additionally, about 694,936,000 persons have taken a booster shot.
In the senior population of age 60 and above, 223,708,000 have taken at least one shot. 212,572,000 have taken 2 shots, 143,637,000 have taken a booster shot.

Shanghai cases aren't going down yet. Initially, they only test people in Pudong and now expand to all Shanghai. It would take a few more days before cases would go down. As for Jilin, at the beginning, cases were found in Jilin city but now most of the cases are found in Changchun.

China health authority revealed the purchase prices of its vaccines and the total vaccine cost so far. It is a lot lower than many have speculated.
I remember having seen unit price of 200 yuan per shot mentioned in early 2020 before vaccination rolled out for free for everyone. Not clear if that price was just for the dose or it also included the labor cost for administering the shot.
"Due to low production capacity and high demand, the initial purchae orders were priced at 90 yuans per dose or less. That was overall lower than the price for international orders (at the time?). The prices kept dropping in the subsequent orders. There were prices of 40 yuans and 20 yuans, per dose, for example. Some vaccine producers with higher capacities even provided 600 million doses for free. The price will be even lower in the coming orders."
"The total 3.2 billion doses administered so far cost 120 billion yuans. It is paid for by the public healthcare fund and the government budget. The share by the public healthcare fund is affordable for the fund."
