For the US, it's class-blind. I have seen middle and upper class people raging against the anti-Covid measures as well. While stupidity definitely plays a role in this aversion towards and the poor implementation of those measures, culture definitely does as well. People in the US are no fans of the government and the politicians' hypocrisy only fuels their antagonism.
The government also plays a role for not providing a consistent informed guidance through a trusted medium. The poor are less unformed and easily manipulated with unreliable information by the Main Stream and SMS media.
Now it is very clear how like Black Plague killed 50% of Europe's population. I always wondered, how is that much death even possible, but seeing the aftermath of COVID and Western idiocy, it really makes sense now.
Nice bro. You are most protected person I know so far. This should definitely protect you agaisnt hospitalization. Although I wonder why you decided to take AZ for the third dose.

I didn't decide which vaccine to take but its the vaccination recommendation set by our Ministry of Health (1st and 2nd doses by Chinese vaccine, Sinovac or Sinopharm. 3rd dose by AZ and 4th dose by Pfizer). Though we can choose different vaccine but I think it's better to follow their recommendation because we aren't expert, they are.
Cambodia started 4th dose campaign since late January but I chose to wait two weeks after their initial campaign. The main reason is I wanna see if there is any bad side effect coming out from this vaccine. I read news that Pfizer caused about half a dozen death in Vietnam but most victims were teenagers.
OK. I did read Pfizer can cause some heart issues like myocarditis in young men although it's a very small number. AZ can cause fatal blood clots so I avoided it even though they said it's still much less chance than getting covid.
But you got a variety of vaccines so you should be covered for all of them. Maybe that's why they recommended that regiment. We haven't even start the 4th shot yet here, still considering it o ly for the old and vulnerable people first. Cambodia is really ahead of this in comparison. Good to know.

Talking about variety, Vietnam has a more complicated variety of vaccines than us. At the beginning they just inoculated with whatever available. 1st dose AZ then AZ ran out of stock, wait for a long time and Pfizer arrived, then take the Pfizer for 2nd dose. Some take Moderna for the 3rd dose. No 4th dose has been reported so far.
It's true that Cambodia is fast in inoculations. As a citizen, we always criticize the government for being ineffective and corrupted but Covid-19 handling, there's really nothing to complain. As our Prime Minister said "take China as a strategic dependent for vaccine supply". So when other countries were struggling to find a source of vaccines, we have plenty of supplies and donated some to our neighbor countries.
