Sweden dropped all Covid restrictions yesterday joining Denmark who did the same a week ago.
Testing have stopped and the only recommendation is a general one to stay home if you feel ill.
Corona is now basically treated like any other regular cold/flu.
We have good vaccination coverage and omicron gives much milder symptoms then the previous Delta variant.
Deaths and hospitalizations seems higher then they are due to that anyone who died within 30 days of testing positive for covid was counted in the statistics, this skews the numbers when you have very high case numbers.

Are there any updated mRNA vaccines for omicron yet?
Most mRNA manufacturers are not so keen in developing a new vaccine for Omicron. Moderna said that its Omicron mRNA vaccine isn't any better than the original mRNA vaccine. Walvax and a few mRNA companies have vaccines for the original and Delta in clinical trials. mRNA for Omicron or for all variants are still months away from clinical trials.
