Why are you only focusing on mRNA's reduced efficacy against Omnicron and Delta, while ignoring inactivated vaccine efficacy reduction against Omnicron and Delta?
That's called being disingenuous. If you make a FAIR comparison, ALL VACCINES (mRNA and inactivated) have diminished performanced against Omnicron.
But sadly you don't give a fair shake, but present a one-sided story.

You portray a one-sided argument as if mRNA is a failure, but clearly ignore that ALL VACCINES have troubles against the new variants.
If you were an honest , you would have said: "Great news for Vaccine Worshippers" because Omnicron reduces efficacy of ALL VACCINES (mRNA and inactivated). Are you trolling?
Just admit you hate Western mRNAs, I'd respect you that much more, rather than your cheap shots at mRNA tech whereas China gov't is clearly going all in on it with billions investment into local Chinese mRNA tech. The double-standards and cognitive dissonance you exhibit needs to be called out.

Well it's always informative to see what the enemy is thinking. Like they put up so many conspiracy theories against Chinese science that now it's being applied to their own governments by their own citizens. They accused China of putting microscopic tracking and information gathering devices in Chinese medical applications that it's the crux of domestic conspiracy theories against US vaccines. They thought they could contain it counting on their own racial prejudices to keep it separated. The US has a history of medical experiments on uniformed US citizens so there is no history of ethical morality where there's a line they won't cross.
They are in Panik mode because all signals point to the same thing regarding the new variant, Omicron. "All the roads lead to a lockadown"

I hope you are wrong. This continual politicising over covid and vaccines is wearing me down.
I hope I am wrong too, however I am noticing a suspiciously large amount of wishful thinking in the media. Either this is organic (lol) or the elites are prepping the people to "live with it"
As for the vaccines, here is my roadmap towards "returning to normal":
1) manadatory vaccinations (booster every x months)
2) whatever the vaccine, it should have >75% prevention of death or severe cases (hospitalisation)
3) over the counter pill which would reduce chance of hospitalisation when taken after a person is tested positive for the virus. Should be cheap, easily accessible, with minimal side effects
If all of the above conditions are satisfied then we should be ok, unless an Omicron-level abomination variant appears but with a lot more lethality, which in that case we are fcked
Yes, this is the only realistic path that balance the cost-benefits. Too many new variants, we will be fighting the variants until end of time.
