Yep, even asian countries peddling Western media gives you a distorted image of chinese vaccines. Like the one below. View attachment 79418

That table is ambiguous on the terms that are used.

Is "reduction on infection risk" the same as "effectiveness against Covid-19"?

If it's the case, then 74% and 95% (Sinovac with booster) is definitely better than 62% and 72% (Pfizers with booster)!.

Sinovac is put in the most bottom of rows that I bet most of us don't even notice those finer bits of information.

Its a mess its measuring different variables for different vaccines. Just look at the western made vaccines you get a number of neutralizing and binding particles/bodies. Then when it gets to Sinovac you just get percentages not even the same percentages as the ones used for the western vaccine. The western vaccines metrics makes it seems like you won't get infected, and the Sinovac numbers makes it seems you will get infected but not hospitalized.

It seems like Vietnam is now ahead of China in making covid pills.
China is still without local mRNA vaccines.
China has multiple Covid-19 treatments in Phase III trials. And Pfizer waived license fees for lower and lower-middle income countries already. So any drug maker in Vietnam or India can make Pfizer pills.

There goes my plans to travel in 2022
Let's hope for the best but plan for the worst. This is why am very impressed with the CPC's insistence that the country not open up like the rest of the world despite what the west would want it to do; which is to invite more infections and damage the country's economic gains and advantages over the West.
