Agreed. This is the best answer to China's zero covid question. We don't know when, but eventually, Covid-19 will become a garden-variety flu disease. But for now, Covid-19 is still landing people in hospitals and killing them. It is in this very dangerous period that China must maintain the zero Covid-19 strategy. Its so simple. Yet the 'free world' fails to understand this.
The "free world" understandly perfects the benefits of zero covid strategy implemented by China, they are not stupid. They do want China to open the borders so that its people get infected and hundreds of thousands die, as that would weaken the legitimacy of the government and make it easier for their wet dream regime change fantasies.
While it would be better if the "free world" (aka the nazi america) simply implemented "zero-covid" themselves, its not a political possibility so instead of trying to end COVID, they would rather just take down their competitor to their own level of failing.
Those "free world" pretenders lose their legitimacy of scapegoating China for the pandemic when they show themselves to be failing in the fight against it while China has succeeded in reducing the pandemic to almost zero and would have succeeded already if not for the mess those certain "free world" countries got themselves into due to their own incompetence in controlling the pandemic.
In order for them to regain their legitimacy to continue scapegoating China, China has to perform much worst than them or at least be doing as bad as them, which is why they hope China would abandon its Covid zero strategy and end up joining them in the mess they are wallowing in.
Yes, I noticed that on Worldometer too. At the mean time, there are also some country that doing well with controlling the virus like Cuba. Daily case of Cuba drops from 10,000+ to 300+. Cambodia's daily case has dropped down to 2 digits since November and our country is almost fully opened. No more quarantine for fully vaccinated people, international tourist are welcome back (I'm happy and worried at the same time). Vietnam doesn't cope well with the virus. After reopening, daily case in Vietnam has soared up from 3,000+ to 8,000+. Some city and province introduce restrictions again.@SteelBird bro I'm happy to announce that our daily case as of today is at 1,296 per day a massive decrease from 18,000 plus a month ago, Vaccination is the answer even one dose can prevent infection aside from effective governance and action, it also help that we are an archipelagic country so controlling the movement of people is easy, hopefully it will continue and maybe an optimistic projection we may see a 3 digit number in cases by next month.
@SteelBird bro country that discriminate suffered the most, Among our neighbors in ASEAN look who has an increase in infection Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam, these countries played politics. Indonesia the poster boy of Western MSM demonization due to their usage of Chinese vaccine had a huge drop in cases. So we may see the light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully resume travelling again next year. My feet is itching, I want to travel to China especially to explore the Western side of Xinjiang.Yes, I noticed that on Worldometer too.
