Madness. If if this was happening in China. The Western and Indian media will be all over it.

But wait. It is happening in China. Just not in the CPC-administered part of China. Who's betting that some Jai Hind might pick this up and say:
"Look, this is proof that China is lying! Look at the disaster in China! They are covering this up! Millions of hidden deaths and suffering! This never happens in superpowah India!"

This 'exposé' might even go all the way up to the Indian media. That way, it'll be them who reveals English Vegetable's failings, not Chinese 'propaganda'. Its very well possible, considering their track record.

This lab leak theory is among the weakness of the casus bellis of the West. They have tried color revolution in HK, genocide lies in Xinjiang, China island-building 'annexation' from the Philippines, China's 'threat' to Taiwan's 'independence'. If the West had really acted on their casus bellis, it would have been war already.

Pinning the blame of Covid-19 on China is a done deal regardless of the Wuhan lab theory. Even if the Wuhan lab leak theory is dismissed. Then China will and already is blamed for 'letting' the virus leave its borders. The West will always find other excuses to blame China. Adding a phony Wuhan lab leak theory on top of it is not gonna change much, since China is already being slandered and punished by the West and friends right now.

Nevertheless, I would totally agree to massively build up China's military now. Even today the West and friends could not truly form a united anti-China front. Some are eager, while others are reluctant. If China can build its military to truly frightening proportions, then that anti-China front becomes shakier and weaker. Hence the threat of war reduces further.

I can only shudder to imagine what kind of pain China is going to visit on the USA when the time is right.the USA is playing all its cards now with mixed results but the moment when China finally plays their cards for real, we will be amazed at how a real nation deals with its enemies and given 4K years of history, the west has never ever faced China fully unleashed before and by that point, no negotiations is going to save them until China extracts all of the money owing in blood

I think the lab leak hypothesis represents the biggest casus belli the West could have possibly acquired in this era. It is hard to imagine another crises (short of actual warfare over Taiwan / SCS).

This is what makes the situation so dangerous right now, as there is now reason for both sides to mobilize the whole of society for "confrontation". Previous confrontations were largely symbolic and/or financial in nature. But now the damage is distributed across the whole of society, so everyone wants revenge.

Unless strong evidence emerges of natural origin emerges soon the situation will be rendered irreversible.

Biden is trying to create leverage against China for trade negotiations because Trump already expended the most useful ones. Speaking of which, did anyone else notice that the recent US China trade talks (video conference hosted by the Tai lady) coincided with the Wuhan Lab origins rehash? It didn’t receive much media coverage at all. I wonder if Biden made some concessions that would look really bad for the Democrats when it actually gets exposed.

Unless you have a global ban, it is always possible for Indians to circumvent national bans by travelling via 3rd countries.

Makes complete sense. When you want to approve a therapy on an emergency basis and plan to vaccine billions of people, it seems logical to make one using an established mechanism. Inactivated vaccines have been around for decades and there are already hundreds of studies on them.

Approving mRNA vaccines - of which there were none approved prior to covid, is another example of capitalism gone astray. Pharmaceutical companies knew governments would be a lot more lax in approving experimental therapies.

One of the biggest reasons why mRNA vaccines hadn't been able to be approved before covid was because of severe adverse reactions. mRNA may turn out to be fine and the technology of the future of vaccines, but it could also go the other way and we could have millions harmed.

I really really hope that mRNA vaccines tech turn out to be just as safe like the inactivated vaccines used by Sinovac because the alternative idea is just horrendous to contemplate. I don't want countless of people - friends and families alike - to suffer anything from the vaccine because if it does then how in the world is the government in many countries going to explain and justify the consequences?

I hope so too if MRNA is really successful and not just "manufactured prestige" it means biochemical warfare will be hopefully limited if you can create a vaccine within a couple of weeks.

Lol Americans are going to war en masse? I don't see any of the woke liberals and right wing nut jobs lining up going to the Army recruitment center signing up. It's all hot air. Same goes for Australia with their measly plankton size military and the same goes for the European clowns. When push comes to shove China has been through the worst scenarios and then some. The country, it's people and the leadership have all gone through hardships and adversity which make the country fnng dangerous to fight against. What adversity has Europe gone through other than to invent new gender which the same can be said of the U.S. Canada and the rest of 5 eyes alliance.
