Check out the paragraph where they said vaccine maker Adar Poonawalla fled to London. Shit gets tough, time to ring the white man for rescue.

Just wait for the Sinovac vaccine if you can but if Pfizer is available then you can make your own judgment.LOL. I too wanna stay away from Astra Zeneca that are made in India. I really do.
Problem now is that AZ is produced in multiple countries. I saw those AZ boxes and I can't tell whether they were made in India, or South Korea, or Belgium. Its getting quite opaque now. So when I argue to stay away from suspected Indian AZ. I don't have any solid proof.
There is intense peer pressure around me now in Malaysia to get injected with AZ. Which is available as an individual choice now. Because the Malaysian govt royally screwed up their vaccine deals with Pfizer and Sinovac. There is shortage of both of those vaccines now. Only AZ vaccines are coming in relatively smoothly from the Covax program. I don't exactly know why AZ can come in faster than others. There were rumours that those AZ batches were rejected elsewhere, placed in the Covax program, and then Malaysia receives them. I'm still on the waiting list to get either the Pfizer or Sinovac vaccine. I do hope that things don't get too desperate until I have no choice but to go for AZ.
Yes I do believe that whoever is reporting on the AZ vs Pfizer death rates is definitely cherry picking. And the Russian media is only too happy to report about it.
Take note of the bolded part in the last paragraph. I think no other of the available COVID-19 vaccines (in or outside China) has made the claim, for which I take that the "other vaccines" are meant to say the more common vaccines that are in use today.
China reports adverse reaction rate of 11.86 out of 100,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses

BEIJING, May 28 (Xinhua) -- The incidence of adverse reactions to COVID-19 vaccines in China is 11.86 out of 100,000 doses, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) said on Friday.
A total of 31,434 cases of adverse reactions were reported from Dec. 15, 2020 to April 30 this year when 265 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered across the Chinese mainland, said China CDC.
The incidence of severe adverse reactions is 0.07 out of 100,000 doses, which means severe reactions are very rare, said the agency.
The incidence of adverse reactions to COVID-19 vaccines is lower than the average incidence of adverse reactions to other vaccines reported in 2019, it added. Enditem
That's a severe adverse reaction of less than one in a million!
Damn, I wish we had the Chinese vaccines here, I would take it in a heartbeat.
I have been listening to TWIV ever since the beginning of the pandemic. The scientists on the show have been very neutral in their analysis and sometimes even supportive of the Chinese government's pandemic control methods. I learned a great deal from them
This is worth watching. Its a proper discussion with 3 lead scientists (Peter Daszak, Thea Kolsen, and Marion Koopmans) from the WHO team who visited Wuhan and the WIV. They discussed their investigation into the Wuhan lab leak theory in 50:00 to 1:05:50.
Its a long watch. I would recommend to watch all of it. Because it is an educational experience. It gives you the idea of just how monumental the scale of the work that they are doing in their mission to find the origins of SARS-CoV-2.
In summary, they've visited not just the WIV, but in total 3 labs in Wuhan. They mainly did interviews with the people in the labs. They asked very comprehensive questions, even very tough ones. And they have found nothing out of the ordinary, or anything that would indicate that something fishy happened. Peter Daszak even mentioned that the latest WSJ report about the 3 sick WIV staffs was something already mentioned in Mike Pompeo's 'intelligence findings' back in January before Biden took over the presidency. He approached that 'intelligence team' to ask them to share the report and any information, so that the WHO team could look into it. But surprise, surprise, nothing. Marion Koopmans had also asked publicly that if there is any evidence about the Wuhan lab theory, please share it with them, even confidentially if needed. But they have received nothing. They didn't do any of the more stringent investigations like opening freezers, or taking samples from the lab. Because they are not there to do a lab audit. But then again, there is no credible evidence for them to follow on to that would make that step necessary in their first visit to the WIV.
Maybe a proper lab audit could be planned for their next investigative visit to the WIV. But we must pray that it is these same people who are going to do it, not some other compromised scientists or any of those a-hole witch-hunters. If the WHO investigative team is compromised, China should not allow them into Wuhan.
That's largely happened in all western countries. They looked at what happened in China and other Asian countries, and assumed they would need the same. They can help by not wasting precious medical gear.
A Danish Norwegian study has found Astra Zeneca to be generally safeTo be more exact, risk of severe adverse reaction = 100000/0.07 => 1 in 1,428,571
That would mean if the whole of Singapore's population were to use Chinese vaccines, only 4 people would have a severe adverse reaction and all 4 would probably survive it.
I wonder how things are turning out in actual fact for Singapore who uses only non-Chinese vaccines in their vaccination program.
I'm not a vaccine conspiracy theorist but giving out numbers like this for a new vaccine is wrong. A few weeks ago people were talking about a one in several million risk of VITT syndrome.A Danish Norwegian study has found Astra Zeneca to be generally safe
However I'll ieave it up to forumnites to decide whether 1 in 40000 persons getting a blood clot on the brain is ok
Systematic study of 280,000 vaccinated people aged 18-65
1/However, they identified an increased incidence of blood clots in the veins (venous blood clots), including a slightly increased incidence of blood clots in the veins of the brain, corresponding to one additional such clot per 40,000 vaccine recipients.
These rare blood clots in combination with low platelet counts are referred to as the VITT syndrome. The occurrence of VITT after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine has led to the removal of the vaccine from the Danish and Norwegian vaccination programmes against COVID-19.
The absolute risk to the individual vaccine recipient is still considered to be low.
