How about China just f..ng said no testing or investigation until Fort Derrick is investigated as well? Why is China or Xi Jinping and the rest of the CPC leadership going to allow the country and the people be subjected to this humiliation by going through the political motion of allowing the so-called experts for investigation when everyone in the world knows it's just for a show. And to show the world that China is still under it's control and thumb regardless of how far it has come economically and militarily.
If Xi Jinping is going to succumb to that f...ng nonsense of an investigation without getting something equal if not greater in return from these lying c..ts then China is allowing itself to be bullied again. This will not be the last of the west recalcitrant demands; it will be just one of many. There has to be a f..ng limit to this farce.

The parking lot shit drove me nuts because it was being pushed by a prominent ivy league school or at least a person or persons associated with Harvard University. I was like, are these American institutions that are supposed to be top notch this ret..ded? Exactly! China opened the Wuhan and the WIV to the WHO. No other major country ever did anything close to that. But it never satisfies the West because they couldn't find the evidence that they wanted to hear. Now instead of asking truly scientific questions. We all are bogged down by this Wuhan Lab theory over, and over, and over again! Today, some of the most objective (previously), and respected doctors, scientists, and journalists are succumbing to this Western pressure of the Wuhan Lab theory. It's as if ever since Biden took over, almost every well-known esteemed proffessional had become bobbleheads to the US dictat.
You are right. No matter how much China cooperates, things will only get worse. I'm predicting that the next WHO investigation team going to Wuhan is not gonna be partial. They'll surely replace Peter Daszak with a corrupted scientist. Or maybe blackmail him into submission. That investigation is gonna become a farcical: "AHA! We've finally found the evidence! WIV, Dr Shi, and China are guilty!". With that fake 'evidence'. What could come next? More sanctions on CPC members, Sanctions and disqualification of the WIV. Arrest warrant for Dr Shi and her associates. Lawsuits filed against the WIV and the CPC. Why not? It'll definitely help to weaken China's epidemic prevention program.
Why do I believe this BS will happen? Because there are already precedents:
1)The OPCW, had been compromised when investigating the 'Syrian Chemical attack'. The first investigators found no evidence of a chemical attack by Syria. They were subsequently replaced, and then viola! They've finally 'found evidence' of the chemical attack.
2) The OPCW were also complicit in supporting the one-side UK accusation of Russia in the Skripal poisoning case. No questions were asked about the unusual circumstance of: 'military grade Novichok' and the Skripals surviving from it in excellent shape.
3) MH-17 shoot-down. The Dutch-led joint investigation team. Consisting of some of the most professional air investigators in Europe. They were only looking for two things: The Buk missile, and Russia's guilt. No questions were ever asked about why Ukrainian ATC allowed passenger flights to fly over an active war zone with known aircraft shoot-downs.
4) Better Cotton Initiative. A time trusted multinational NGO with many professionals in the cotton industry. Colluding with the US. Using lies about 'Uighur forced labour' to punish the cotton industry of Xinjiang.
The Chinese leadership must start waking up to the reality that Western professionalism and impartiality is always 'negotiable'. Stop being so naive to try to 'cooperate' with the Western-established systems. If the WHO was really that impartial, Chinese vaccines would have been in the Covax program from day one.
Start acting like a big power! Push the WHO to investigate the early Covid-19 cases around Europe and the US. Demand for a probe into Fort Detrick. The WHO will get no more concessions from China until all that is being done. Don't trust the WHO either. Better to start using espionage to do some actual investigations. Because too many Western scientists and professionals cannot be trusted anymore!

Coronavirus has inflicted suffering on the developing world. And the developing world is largely non aligned. China has a duty, responsibility and incentive to make its case clear to these countries. Many countries in the developing world overtly and covertly support China ( its rise against the west). Whether they stand to gain directly from China or not, many see China as the "other guy" in the field. The west anymore can't enjoy the freedoms it once exercised over these poor countries. It can't issue diktats with authority anymore.
China has a responsibility since it reported the cases first and since the Wuhan lab is indeed located in the city that first reported it.
I am sometimes baffled as to what the f..k goes through the head of the CPC leadership when it comes to their dealings with the U.S. Do they honestly believe that America will pass the baton or mantle of leadership to China peacefully and without a fight?
Stop saying how China is still weak but then strong at the same time. But I am not going to second guess it's current strategy that it's enacting because in all honesty and objective speaking, the China strategic play is going according to their own timetable. Strategic Patience is really something China has excelled at so far.

Remember that QUAD meeting when India and America provided guidance on stopping COVID? Almost as brilliant as the QUAD meeting when America ordered India to vaccinate ASEAN.
