LOL. That reflects a fundamental difference between the Chinese civilization and the barbarians. Throughout the Chinese history, a dynasty would eventually be toppled if people were suppressed hard and long, regardless of "system" or "belief". This is a Chinese thing over anything, including "democracy".

India, I guess, exists in a parallel universe to the one China resides. With what have been going on in India since the beginning of time, China would have gone through a few dynastic cycles. Yet, people there are still in peace. My hats off to them!

India was handed a silver platter by the British. They didn't have to fight for freedom, didn't have to sacrifice, make hard choices, "adapt or die" whereas China literally had its own "adapt or die" moment after it got steamrolled by the Western Nations

It was either change or just watch as the country was sinking under invasions. Mao came in and fought off the Japanese. Started the nuclear program and got to fight the US superpower for Chinese interests

China was forged from steel and was injured many times but eventually, like a phoenix, it was born again from its ashes, stronger than ever before.

Where in India's history did Indians had to work really hard to advance and save their country?..

Exactly. And that is certainly one more reason why the west (or the rest) are often confused between "China, "Chinese", "CCP". They don't understand that the Chinese fundamentally don't give a rats ass about any "system" or "belief", so long as the "system" takes care of their basic interests. Hence the Chinese style of fighting Covid-19, so is the capitalism with Chinese characteristics. And Chairman Mao introduced "Serve the People" to 1+ billion ordinary Chinese. Yet the west still holds the fantasy that they can brain-wash today's Chinese mass. LOL

Kudos to Malawi's health minister for doing that.

Western nations, in particular the USA, have donated expired medications on third world countries for decades as a form of aid.

In the western countries it would be illegal to administer them to animals, but somehow its charitable to give them to a developing country.

Zero new domestic confirmed cases in China, one new domestic asymptomatic carrier in Anhui.

Looks like the thing everyone was fearing - that a silent outbreak was spreading back during May Day holiday did not turn out to be the case. Rather this recent flair up was caught at very early stages. Once again proving the efficiency of the current early warning systems.

Now we just have to find out where this flair up came from and plug up that hole.
