@Bellum_Romanum Bro Not only that Western nation will manufactured their own medicines from now own instead of offshoring it to India.(as stated by Germany) A double whammy. This pandemic is a lesson to all to have at least some credible domestic capacity available instead of relying overseas.
I wish I could slap this news to that dumb s..t Philippine Senator Hontiveros? Am not sure if I got her name right. She's one of those loud mouthe breathing moron who kept on insisting that Chinese Sinova vaccine be delayed for some nonsensical testing and were inferring that the Chinese vaccine may pose health risk due to efficacy issues. Then Aztrazenica blood cloth happened; then India covid tsunami happened. The Philippines would have been at the mercy of the virus if it didn't have any vaccines received from China. No wonder your President came out publicly to soften the public melt down of his passionate Foreign Affairs Sec.

Lianhua Qingwen has obtained registration and approval in 22 countries and regions including Canada, Russia, Singapore and Kuwait.
Some countries, such as Thailand and Ecuador streamlined its approval in the wake of COVID-19. In Uzbekistan, the TCM was added to the COVID-19 treatment method, making it possible to be imported without tedious registration.

This guy sure loves China
@Crang bro he sure know how to play the crowd, the drama it creates is a good advertising for SinoPharm...LOL, bro of the 3 Chinese vaccine for me Sinopharm is the best, it was administered last year to his Presidential guard with a lot of controversy, but there is no reports of any deaths and deadly side effects. In fact of all the vaccines being offered to inoculated the President, his personal doctor recommended Sinopharm without consulting our FDA (corrupt and a Regulatory captured agency). And @KYli that is the issue, our FDA prioritized approving western medicine with lax regulation while the Chinese one had to undergo strict guidelines, Astrazeneca vaccine was given a emergency permit to use even though the American FDA hadn't approved it yet.

Bloomberg is such a pathetic media corp. This entire article is dunking on Chinese vaccines and then ends it with some random quote of suspicion by an African.
You first shit on these vaccines then claim people are suspicious.
Also judging by the tone, they're terrified of Sinovac receiving WHO authorization.

On the contrary I think that this is a very responsible thing that the Scomo government did. They are sacrificing the privileges of a few to prevent their country from being inundated by a new, possibly vaccine resistant strain and are doing so despite possible public backlash.

I disagree. Surely the most fundamental right of citizenship is the right to enter and to reside within the nation-state in question. It is one thing to regulate airline flights, or to require arrivals to quarantine for a period on arrival It is quite another to ban Australian citizens from entering Australia entirely. Such a ban is a direct assault on the rights of every Australian citizen and a frankly terrifying arrogation of power by the Australian government. At this point I hope that the ban is not merely reversed, but that it be tested in the courts and found illegal so that the government might never be tempted to try such a thing again.

Just gunna leave this here.

The ability to return to one's country of citizenship isn't a privilege, it's a human right.

It's entirely feasible for Australia to repatriate its citizens all the while keeping their population covid-free, they just need to take the proper precautions and enforce a strict quarantine protocol.

Wolfie got it in one! The OZ and the West louding publicly how they fly out there citizens out of Wuhan like some sort if daring rescue mission to return to the OZ and the West for safety. With great fanfare. (Remember all those passengers on the coach with the "rescuers" in full PPE gear. Lol)

Now, it's a different story when its india!

@t2contra

Yes, we need to be very very careful.

Have Sinovac, Sinopharm and Cansino received WHO authorization yet?
