Something I wrote in my Facebook.

I am aghast to see mockery like that grotesque Danish cartoon , and worse, supported by Danish politicians with mealy mouth comments that ok as freedom of speech.
Or Wall Street Journal headlines mocking China as the "Real Sick Man of Asia" . That "Sick Man of Asia" is an insult . The phrase "sick man of Asia" or "sick man of East Asia" (Chinese: 東亞病夫; pinyin: Dōngyà bìngfū) originally referred to China in the late 19th and early 20th centuries when it was driven by internal divisions and taken advantage of by the great powers. China was forced to sign a series of unequal treaties, culminating in the Japanese invasion of China during World War II. The phrase may be considered derogatory, as it mocks Chinese government and the Chinese people for being weak. The phrase was intended as a parallel to "sick man of Europe", referring to the weakening Ottoman Empire during the same period.
It is akin to playing Horst-Wessel-Lied in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
It is like same of the so called civilized world applauding the beheadings done by ISIS as entertaining. Or sending in bouquets of flowers to opening of extermination Auschwitz camps.
That is just how sick that appeared to me and Chinese.
Amazing that did not appear that way to those people with stunted evil mind and blackened soul.
